1 – The number of pupils at local authority schools reported as having turned up to school under the influence of alcohol in the 2018/19 school year.
2- The number of pupils at local authority schools reported as having turned up to school under the influence of drugs in the 2018/19 school year.

In accordance with section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 please be advised that the number of students turning up to school under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs is not held. The number of exclusions due to substance misuse (alcohol or non-alcohol) are shown below.

2. The numbers are so few that disclosure could lead to the identification of individuals. This information is therefore exempt under section 38(1)(b) of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, personal information.
