1. a) In the past year, has the council applied for any Welfare Guardianship Orders (or Interim Welfare Guardianship Orders) on behalf of individuals known to the Social Work dept

b)  If so, how many applications were lodged, and how many granted?

2. a) Presently, how many individuals are subject to WGOs or IWGOs that give Moray council (or its chief Social Work Officer) Guardianship powers?

b) How many of these individuals have learning disabilities e.g. autism?

1. a) Yes there were 7 applications and there are 6 currently in progress.

b)  There were 7 lodged and granted.

2. a) Currently there are 39 individuals subject to Welfare Guardianship Orders and 0 on Interim Orders.

b) Of the above number the people who have learning disability as the primary cause of incapacity is 15.
