I would like to know how and where Moray council sort and process the materials collected at kerbside. I would therefore like to know where and how the following are recycled:

Plastics PET 1 & HDPE 2
Aluminium
Paper
cardboard
Glass
Garden waste
Food waste

Plastics (Type 1 & 2): Wyllie Recycling, Perth, Granulated on site for reprocessing. Recycled into new products.

Aluminium Cans: Novelis UK ltd, Warrington, Recycled on site. Recycled into new products.

Mixed Papers & cardboard: SAICA Ltd, Saica Dundee – 6 Moatmill, Inveraldie, Dundee, DD4 0QL. Recycled into new products.

Glass MKD 32, Leith, Recycled in UK and Europe. Recycled into new products.

Green & Food Keenans Recycling, New Deer, Aberdeenshire, Composted.
