Please could you tell me the following:
1. The current number of burial plots available within the Council sites?
2. How many burial plots you have in total across the councils' sites?
3. When do you estimate you will run out of available burial plots?
4. Are there plans for any new sites?

3. 2041 this assumes that pre sales remain available.  If no pre sales are allowed then this date will extend.

4. Plans for new cemetery at Elgin and extensions to Clovenside Cemetery, Forres; Lossiemouth; Broomhill Cemetery, Keith; Buckie West; Cullen and Deskford; Aberlour; Dufftown; Tomintoul; Rothes; Lhanbryde as and when required.  New cemeteries and extensions will be programmed in as required.  This will then have the effect of extending the life span of the cemeteries

In addition the Private Sector are in the middle of constructing a new cemetery at Burghead.
