FOI Request - Brown Bin Permits

Please provide the following information :
Projected funding to be generated over 2018/19 from brown bin permits and total projected costs for the same period for the administration required for the brown bin permits, including but not specifically, the total postage costs of all permits issued, inspection of bins to ensure compliance and advertising/taxpayer awareness costs of the brown bin permit scheme for Moray Council.

The Council didn’t generate any income in 18/19 from Brown Bin permits as the income relates to 19-20.  The projected budgeted income for 19-20 is £669,000.

The total for call centre staff costs for Brown Bins in 18-19 was £9057.71.

Direct costs for advertising, printing and postage in 2018/19 were:
Advertising £2391
Printing and Postage £21002

Bin inspection for compliance is already part of the collection crews normal working practises, hence no additional related costs.
