FOI Request - Care Leavers and Council Tax Discretionary Reductions

Please provide the following information as requested:
• Data Period: January 1st, 2018 and December 31st 2018.
• Data Cohort: Care Leavers (i.e. a person aged between 16 and 25 years having been looked after by a local authority from 16 years old or any subsequent period after this date) in receipt of a discretionary reduction in Council Tax liability issued in accordance with Section 13A of the Local Government Finance Act 1992 (or equivalent Council Tax Reduction legislation).
• Data requested: a)The total number of the cohort; b) The number in receipt of 100% discretionary reduction; and c) The number in receipt of 50% or less discretionary reduction.

a) There are no Care Leavers in receipt of a discretionary reduction in Council Tax
b) There are no Care Leavers in receipt of a 100% discretionary reduction in Council Tax
c) There are no Care Leavers in receipt of a 50% or less discretionary reduction in Council Tax
