1. Does Moray Council operate an in-house household waste and/or recycling collection service, either directly or via an arms-length company owned by the Authority?
2. Does Moray Council operate an in-house service for the collection of commercial waste and/or recycling?
3. Does Moray Council operate a commercial waste and/or recycling services which has customers located outside your Authority boundaries?
4. Does Moray Council charge VAT on commercial collection services?
5. Does Moray Council keep separate accounting records, including apportionment of costs, relating both to household collections and commercial collections?

1. In house service for waste and recycling.

3. No, all customers are only within Moray.

4. We do not charge VAT on our commercial collections that we offer, however we do charge VAT on 3rd party contractors.

5. Commercial collection vehicle costs are budgeted separately from domestic collections.
