Please provide the following information under Freedom of Information Legislation Request:
1. The date The Moray Council put the brown bin collection charge out to public tender.
2. The name and address of each company that was invited to tender for the contract.
3. The name and address of the successful company.
4. The value of the successful contract.
5. The VAT registration number of the successful company.
6.The date the contract begins and ends.

7. I also refer you to last years information sheet enclosed with the Council Tax charge: Waste & Environmental 6%. The amount included removing garden waste. [T]he removal of garden waste was always charged to Waste & Environmental.

7. Moray Council like many other local authorities across Scotland and the UK, are facing increasing pressure on our budget. Collecting garden waste is not a legal requirement, and we can no longer afford to provide this service for free. Councillors agreed to introduce a charge for the collection of garden waste in December 2018. Many other councils already charge for this service, so Moray is not alone in introducing this fee. The £36 per bin, per year will create additional income in the region of £700k per year.
