1.       How many children within your local authority are in foster care?
2.       How many children are in foster care in your local authority from another local authority? (Out of region)
3.       What rate does your local authority pay foster parents to look after one child?
4.       What rate does your local authority pay foster parents to look after a second child?
5.  What rate does your local authority pay foster parents for a third or more additional children?

Response 25-01-2019

1. As at 1 January 2019 there were 79 children in foster care

2. In accordance with section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 please be advised that this information is not held. There are 28 children recorded from other Local Authorities who are attending Moray schools. There may be other younger pre-school children who are other authorities' cases.  These children will not  appear as looked after children on Carefirst as they are not a Moray caseload, unless we are acting on behalf of another authority - even in that case, they would not be marked as Looked After.
