FOI Request Bottled Water
Please provide me with information regarding bottled water over the financial years:
Please tell me how much money was spent on bottled water during each time period and, where possible, how many units or cases were purchased.
How many staff are these made available to, and how are they made available?
Are council staff provided any re-usable containers for drinking from, rather than single-use plastic bottles?
How many water fountains or dedicated water-dispensing machines are available for council staff use?
1. The amounts spent on bottled water relates to water cooler containers.
2. The Council does not provide individual bottles of water to staff.
3. Council staff are not provided with re-usable drinking containers.
4. The current number of dedicated water dispensing machines using water containers (water coolers) in Council premises is 83.There are also approximately 60 additional mains-water plumbed water fountains throughout the council's premises.
