Portknockie harbour

Portknockie is an historic natural harbour with two basins. Some small part-time crab and lobster fishing boats can be seen in the harbour, although it is mainly used by leisure craft. Three pontoons in the inner basin provide berthing for up to 50 boats. Visiting craft are welcome and the harbour is accessible to small boats at all states of tide. There is also still an open-air swimming pool located at the harbour, which is popular in the summer.

Those visiting Portknockie harbour by vessel should contact the harbour office to inform them of your arrival. You can call 01542 831700 or radio VHF Channel 16, working channel 12.
