Jobcentre Plus
Jobcentre Plus is an executive agency of the Department for Work and Pensions. It is responsible for assisting people with of working age find jobs through its network of Jobcentre Plus offices. It is also responsible for administering some benefits for people of working age and for the administration of National Insurance numbers.
Stage 1 - Flexible Work Coach support, (agree frequency and duration)
Discussions on options/timescales.
Access to Flexible Support Fund identify training/provision/remove barriers/redundancy
Stage 2 - Flexible Work Coach support, (agree frequency and duration). Discussions on options/timescales. Access to Flexible Support fund identify training/provisions/remove barriers/redundancy
Day 1 access to work experience placements
Eligible to volunteer for Work Programme
Attendance at appropriate group sessions in Jobcentre. Access to digital equipment and digital support in Jobcentres inc. Universal Jobmatch, online applications, etc.
Signposting to appropriate agencies for more in-depth support. Ensure suitable CV in place with support available.
Stage 3 - Access to Work Trials/Work Experience.
Ongoing Work Coach support as required. Access to Flexible Support Fund/specific training procurement. Access to any further relevant support still required, e.g. sector-based work academies.
Stage 4 - Working with personal Work Coach, ensure CV is current, ensure claimants are aware of all online job vacancy sites, familiar with Universal Jobmatch, self-marketing.
