The responses were reported to Committee in a series of 24 schedules which summarise the consultation response and the Council’s response/recommendation to these. A table and plan which summarises the recommendations for each settlement and rural grouping was also presented to Committee.
The Main Issues Report
Moray Council is in the process of preparing the Moray Local Development Plan 2020 which, when adopted, will replace the Moray Local Development Plan 2015. A Main Issues Report (MIR) was published in January 2018, which set out what the Council considers to be the main land use issues facing Moray in the next 10-15 years and identified preferred locations for new houses, businesses and other land uses and identified improvements required to local infrastructure to support development. The Main Issues Report and supporting documents can be found at the bottom of this page.
A series of drop in exhibitions were held across Moray in January, February and March. These all now taken place.
