Mental Health and Wellbeing Partnership

A new mental health and wellbeing strategy for children and adults in Moray is in development.

Engagement events have been held to give people the opportunity to say what they think about current services, how they could be improved and what else is needed in Moray to support people to live healthier, sustainable, independent lives, safeguarded from harm.

The feedback from these events has been used to start developing the strategy. People with an interest have continued working with officers from NHS Grampian and The Moray Council, as well as service providers from the third and independent sectors, to determine a vision for the strategy, the strategic priorities and how these can be achieved over the next 10 years.

The final draft of the strategy will be agreed by the working group in April 2015. It will then be submitted to NHS Grampian and Moray Council for approval to go out to wider public consultation.

This will be an opportunity for everyone to comment on the draft. Feedback will be used to inform the final strategy.

Everyone with an interest will be invited to continue working in partnership with all stakeholders to ensure the strategy is delivered for the people of Moray.
