Current Rate Poundages

The Rates Poundage for 2024/25 is:

•  49.8 pence for properties with a rateable value of up to £51,000;
•  54.5 pence for properties with a rateable value of £51,001 to £100,000 (this includes an Intermediate Property Rate of 4.7 pence)
•  55.9 pence for properties with a rateable value over £100,000 (this includes a Higher Property Rate of 6.1 pence).

Example 1:

Rateable Value £1,000

£1,000 x 49.8pence = £498.00 payable for full year

Example 2:

Rateable Value £60,000

£60,000 x 54.5pence = £32,700.00 payable for full year

Example 3:

Rateable Value £125,000

£125,000 x 55.9pence = £69,875.00
