FOI Request - Recruitment
I am writing to request the following information in relation to recruitment carried out by the Moray Council since 1st of January 2011:
(1) Whether an occupational requirement to not have the protected characteristic of gen-der reassignment, as allowed by Paragraph 3 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010, was applied to any post?
(2) Whether an occupational requirement to be of a particular sex was applied to any post and transgender applicants not deemed to meet that requirement (e.g. a requirement to be female and a male to female transgender woman not treated as meeting the occupational requirement)?
(3) Whether an occupational requirement to be of a particular sex was applied to any post and applicants and/or successful candidates required to provide a birth certificate or gender recognition certificate as evidence of them meeting that requirement?
