Activities Buddy – ref EL65 (re-opened 13/7/16)

When – To be arranged with volunteer and client  
Role – To offer support to lady to access new activities in the community   
Tasks – To support lady to attend activities which she enjoys such as walking, dancing and exercise classes. Observe policies and procedures, maintain boundaries, attend Adult Protection training and reviews.

When – to be arranged
Role – To support lady to be active

Alarm Responder x 2– ref EL137 (re-opened 26/8/16)

When – as required, emergency situations only
Role – Community Alarm responder/keyholder for female – must live within 30 minutes travel time   
Tasks – call and check well being of person who has activated alarm.  Observe policies and procedures, maintain boundaries, attend Adult Protection training and reviews.
Skills required – Understanding, calm in difficult situations, level headed, Standard Disclosure check required, paid for by Moray Council.

Social Buddy – ref EL150 (14/4/15)

Role – To support gentleman to participate in activities he enjoys

Role – To support gentleman to access community activities

Role – To visit with gentleman in his own home   
Tasks – To visit with gentleman at home for coffee and chat. To provide social contact and companionship thereby reducing isolation.  Observe policies and procedures, maintain boundaries, attend  training and reviews.
Skills required – An awareness of difficulties experienced by people with visual impairment, short term memory loss and mobility difficulties desirable but not essential. Golfing Buddy – ref EL174(reopened 17/8/15)

When – once a week
Role – To support gentleman to go golfing
