The Moray Film Liaison Service is your dedicated point of contact for all filming activity across Moray.  Whether you are planning a feature film, documentary, TV series, commercial, or digital content, we are here to help you bring your vision to life in one of Scotland’s most stunning and versatile regions.

Filming Permissions

Most locations in Moray can be accessed with the correct permissions.  We will help you understand what is required, including:

• Filming on public roads and footpaths
• Use of drones
• Access to council-owned property
• Parking and unit base arrangements
• Road closures or traffic control
• Environmental and heritage site considerations

We aim to process requests as quickly as possible and work collaboratively to keep your project on schedule.
