Towards the end of 2024 it emerged Moray Council was to take legal action to retrieve hundreds of thousands of pounds in business rates from the St Giles Centre.

Has this action progressed since November 2024?

The owners were thought to owe the local authority about £750,000 in fees stretching back over several years with the potential closure a possibility.

Moray Council had expressed concern that this could be the case, has this point now been reached…?
