FOI Request - Burghead Coastal Erosion and Floos Risk

We are carrying out an environmental assessment of BURGHEAD BEACH CARAVAN PARK, IV30 5RP (red line boundary in site plan below). I would be grateful if you could answer the following questions:

1.  Are there any coastal erosion defences within the site boundary or within 100m of the site;

2.  If coastal defences are location on or adjacent to the site when were these installed and by whom;

3.  Who is responsible for the maintenance of coastal erosion defences;

4.  Is the site or adjacent land covered by a shoreline management plan, if so can a copy of the plan be provided;

5. Are there any coastal flood defence on site or within 100m of the site.

2. Not held. We do not hold records for the existing coastal defences in this area. Information that is not held falls under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 - Information not held.

3. It is the responsibility of Moray Council to maintain coastal defences under the Flood Risk Management (Scotland) Act 2009 in conjunction with landowners.
