FOI Request - Tomnavoulin village green

I wanted to ask who owns the village green in Tomnavoulin.
The council stopped cutting the grass several years ago as they said the ownership was under dispute.
So as it does not belong to the council, the crown, the distillery or anyone else locally that we know of, can we appropriate it and turn it into a huge allotment or anything else we can think of?

Please find attached an extract from the corporate property database which shows land owned by the Council in yellow, which we think includes the land in question. Investigations indicate that the land was purchased by the Council's predecessor and is now owned by Moray Council. If you wish to purchase this land please contact the Commercial Properties department.
