FOI Request - Christmas Lights Switch On

1.  Please provide me with the total costs of Christmas lights in the 2022/23 financial year.

2.  Please tell me whether the council is intending to turn on Christmas lights in the 2023/24 financial year.

3.  If the answer to (2) is no, please explain give the reason for not turning on Christmas lights this year.

4.  If the answer to (2) is yes, please provide a projection of the costs.

1.-4. Not held. Moray Council Street Lighting department do not incur costs for Christmas lights. Community Councils are responsible. Energy values are submitted to us, we forward to our energy supplier SSE who then send out invoices to us.  The admin team process the invoices and send to Community Councils with no added on cost. Information that is not held falls under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 - Information not held.
