1.  I would like to request the number of council funded swimming pools within your council borders that were closed in each of the years, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022.

2.  I would also like to request the number of new council funded swimming pools within your council borders that were opened in each of the years 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022.

3.  Finally, I would like to request the total number of swimming pools within your council borders that were open and providing services in each of the years, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022.

Response 05-09-2023

1. End of 2020 Lossiemouth Swimming Pool was closed due to the building of a new school. The swimming pool was replaced as part of the school build and opened in April 2021 (delayed opening between closure and opening of the new was due to Covid restrictions).

2. As above, the new Lossiemouth pool was opened in April 2021 and there were no other closures or new builds in the periods asked for.

3. 5 x public access pools available during all of these years.
