I would like information on school meals spending and uptake.
1. Spending on school meals for financial years 2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22 and 2022/23, broken down by levels P (1-7) and S (1-4).
2. Uptake of school meals, for the past five financial years (how many pupils have been regularly taking school meals and how many pupils are there in total), broken down by levels P (1-7) and S (1-4).
3. Uptake of free school meals for the past five financial years (how many pupils have been taking free school meals and how many pupils are eligible for free school meals), broken down by levels P (6-7) and S (1-4).
4. Current providers of school meals, if applicable.
5. Contract award notice or a copy of contract with the school meal provided, if applicable.
6. Copy of health guidelines used in designing the school menus.

1. . We cannot separate the spend in secondary schools into year groups. Data will include S5 & S6 as these figures are per our local financial returns to Scottish Government.
