FOI Request - Re-evaluation of Properties

1. Regarding re-evaluations, how many properties (small businesses, charities and sports clubs) fell into the category of being affected in regard to Non- domestic rates, i.e. how many had their ratable value increased so it was no above £12,000?

2. In addition, for those properties that went over the £12000 but were still entitled to some relief, what was that number?

1. Not held. Moray Council receives information from the Grampian Assessors in regard to re-evaluations of properties as they are the "data holder". In this respect the Grampian Assessors would be best placed to answer these questions. Their contact email is assessor@grampian-vjb.gov.uk  Information that is not held falls under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 - Information not held.

2. Not held. Moray Council is unable to answer this question, as until an application form for relief is received from a Non Domestic Rates payer, we are unable to ascertain if relief is applicable. Exempt under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 - Information not held.
