Free Period Products
For all who need them
With funding from the Scottish Government, we provide access to free period products throughout Moray for all who need them.
Collect free period products
Free period products are available in schools during term-time for pupils and school staff.
To access products in the community, the Pick Up My Period app provides nearby locations where you can collect free products. All premises listed are accessible to the public and include community centres, libraries, and sports and leisure centres.
The app also contains educational resources on menstrual health, and can be used on the go to find products in the other areas across Scotland.

Statement of Intent
The Period Products (Free Provision) (Scotland) Act 2021 requires local authorities to make period products freely available to anyone who menstruates. A reasonable range of products must be easily accessible and comfortable for individuals to access, without embarrassment, and in a way that respects a person’s dignity.
Under the 2021 Period Products Act, each local authority across Scotland is required to undertake specific duties. This document fulfils the duty (Section 6) to produce a Statement of Intent, outlining how the Council has met or plans to meet these legal obligations.
