FOI Request - School Sport

Request 101002638544

We would like to request information on the provision of extra-curricular school sport activity since state schools returned from the summer lockdown, in August 2020.

Specifically, the questions - relating only to extra-curricular sport and not PE - are:
1. On what date did you permit, or do you plan to permit, primary schools to resume outdoor sport?
2. On what date did you permit, or do you plan to permit, primary schools to resume indoor sport?
3. On what date did you permit, or do you plan to permit, secondary schools to resume outdoor sport?
4. On what date did you permit, or do you plan to permit, secondary schools to resume indoor sport?
5. If sport has resumed are all sports included, and, if not, what is the main reason for exclusions?
6. If it has not resumed, but you have given a date for resumption above, are all sports included and, if not, what is the reason for exclusions?
7. If sport is permitted, which schools are actually providing extra-curricular sport activity?
8. Since the start of the 2020-21 school year, which state schools have been hired or leased for indoor or outdoor sport use by the community?
Many schools are used for club sport in evenings and this resumed for many clubs from mid-July. However, this request relates specifically to indoor and outdoor school sport only.
