We are tracking the number of local authorities that use the Water Direct Scheme to recover debt and current charges for water and sewerage services from clients on benefits. Last year you either confirmed that you do not use the Water Direct Scheme, or that you were going to start using it this financial year or in the future. To this end we would like to ask the following questions:

1. Are you now using the Water Direct Scheme?
2. If you currently do not use it, whether or not you plan to in the future?
