Coronavirus: Moray Sports & Leisure

Most of our Sports and Leisure facilities are now re-opened across Moray.

You should know our services are being reinstated on a phased basis, in line with Government advice, as capacity levels are capped to protect the safety of customers and colleagues. It’ll also allow us to carry out the enhanced cleaning required after every pool or fitness session.

Timetables for each facility are available on the drop-down menus below; you’ll have to pre-book each session to secure your space, and for Test & Protect purposes. You can also phone the leisure facility you wish to attend. To begin with, you’ll be able to book one week in advance, though we’ll keep this under review.

If you've never used it before, we've produced a helpful guide to our online booking system.

  • Make sure you’ve pre-booked your session, we can’t accept ‘walk-ins’.
  • Turn up on time, sessions end promptly to allow enhanced cleaning.
  • If you’re using the exercise room or attending a fitness class, come gym ready. Likewise if swimming be pool ready.
  • Observe physical distancing and house rules, which will be displayed in all of our centres.
  • Be kind and courteous, our staff are there to help as we adjust to a new way of operating.

Enhanced cleaning will be carried out in our leisure and community centres, though we ask that you wipe down surfaces after use. We may ask you to bring your own sporting equipment, if relevant to your booking.

Disabled access will be maintained. Lifts will be in operation for disabled users only (plus an accompanying carer, if required).

We will update this page as more services reopen, however make sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter for the latest developments with your local services:

FitLife? Membership

We’re re-opening facilities with the direct debit payments for your FitLife? membership now recommenced

You can book online, then pay when you arrive for your session. Contactless payment is preferred, to avoid cash handing.

If you’ve an annual membership, it will be extended for the number of days remaining on it as at 20 March, or for the duration of the closure, whichever is fewer.

If you set up your membership at Moray Leisure Centre, but want to use a Moray Council facility, you’ll have to book by phone. We’re continuing to work on a joint booking system, and we’ll let users know when this is up-and-running.

Customers using these facilities are reminded to follow the age admission policy
