Response 20-07-2020

1) At a peak, we had 250 Primary School age children and 22 Secondary School age children attending our Childcare - Care and Learning - Hubs across 8 Primary/Secondary locations on any given day.  This does not include over 100 early years children attending each day, supported predominantly by ELC partners.

Up to Friday, 2 July 2020 we provided daily sessions (8.00 am to 6.00 pm) with total daily attendance Primary (10,120 full-time day sessions attended [average] by Primary Children) and total daily attendance Secondary (917 full-time day sessions attended [average] by Secondary Young People) running from 30 March to 2 July, with many children attending across the period of hub operation from 30 March to 2 July and accounting for multiple daily sessions per child/young person.  Please note on any given day, total attendance (Primary and Secondary pupil numbers) did not exceed 250 Primary age children and 22 Secondary age young people as intimated above.

2)  At a peak, we had 40 Teaching Staff and 41 Support Staff caring for children on any given day, cognisant of smaller group sizes/social and physical distancing and other risk assessment/measures.

In total, all staff across all hub settings provided 2273 (Teaching Staff [average] days) and 1816 (Support Staff [average] days) equivalent days of support.  Most volunteers undertook this role throughout the period of hub operation from 30 March to 2 July.  Please note that at a peak, total volunteers did not exceed 40 Teaching Staff and 37 Support Staff across the 8 Primary/Secondary Hub location on any given day.

3) No cases of Covid-19 were reported.
