Please could I request the following under the freedom of information.

Council guidance on the use of PE halls as additional classroom space for primary and secondary schools so that they can enact social distancing measures.

A list of each school in your council area that is reducing or removing Physical Education from the curriculum so that they can use their sport hall space for additional classroom activity as a result of social distancing measures. If possible could you provide any additional details available as to how much PE time is being lost in total from pupils in each school (e.g. pupils are losing an hour a week, or on average ten hours a month).

The Council have no guidance on this to date as awaiting updated information from the SG around school recovery. There are no plans for schools to use PE halls for social distancing in the current contingency plans.
