FOI Request - Subject Access Requests

Under freedom of information, could you please provide me with:
1. The number of ‘subject access request’s you received between January 1st 2018 and December 31st 2018 from care experienced people –  this includes people who are or have at some point been looked after or accommodated by the local authority, whether looked after at home, in kinship care, foster care, residential, secure care or otherwise.
2. The number of times that you haven’t given the requested information within the statutory period of 20 days.
3.  How many subject access requests from [c]are experienced people you’ve had over the past 3 years.

We do not categorise subject access requests in this way and therefore please be advised, in accordance with section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, that this information is not held.

We are able to provide the total number of subject access requests dealt with in 2018, please see figures below:

Jan-Mar – 13
Apr-Jun – 9
Jul- Sep – 11
Oct-Dec – 12

We do not categorise subject access requests in this way and therefore please be advised, in accordance with section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, that this information is not held.

We are able to provide the total number of subject access requests not responded to within the statutory timescale, please see figures below. Please note, however, that this statutory timescale changed from 40 calendar days to 30 calendar days (with the possibility of a further two months for complex requests) in May 2018 with the introduction of the Data Protection Act 2018.
