Notice of proposed disposal of ground adjacent to 11 St. Leonards Road, Forres

Section 104 of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015, which came into force on 27 June 2018, requires that before taking any decision to dispose of a Common Good property the Council must publish details about the proposed disposal.

Notice is hereby given that The Moray Council is considering the disposal of 148 square metres of ground adjacent to 11 St Leonards Road, Forres, which is held on the Forres Common Good Account, for the purpose of inclusion within the curtilage of 11 St Leonards Road, Forres. A capital receipt for the proposed sale will be generated and credited to the Forres Common Good Fund. A copy of a location plan is available for inspection during normal office hours from The Moray Council Access Point, Council Offices, High Street, Elgin, IV30 1BX.

Any representations to the proposed disposal of ground should be submitted in writing to the Estates Services Manager at the above address no later than Friday 21 December 2018. Any representations should state the name and address of the objector, the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made.
