1) How many council refuse lorries are fitted with CCTV cameras?
How many refuse lorries does the council have?
2) Between November 01,2017, to October 31, 2018, how many fines has the council issued for contaminated rubbish bins and how much did they amount to?
Can you repeat this for November 01,2016, to October 31, 2017 and November 01,2015, to October 31, 2016.
3) How many incidents relating to rubbish bins has the council recorded between November 01,2017, to October 31, 2018, November 01,2016, to October 31, 2017 and November 01,2015, to October 31, 2016?
1a. None of our Refuse Collection Vehicles (RCVs) are fitted with CCTV cameras.
1b. 34 vehicles in total, a mixture of RCVs, Twin track RCVs, and Kerbside Collection RCVs
2. As a Council we do not currently issue fines for contaminated bins from either domestic or commercial premises. Contaminated commercial recycling bins are re-charged to the commercial customer at the full disposal cost which includes a land fill tax element.

These figures include all bin related queries, including: request for new bins, missed bins, stolen bins, damaged bins, requests for medical bins, requests for larger bins, commercial enquiries for bins, events bins, delivery of bins, uplift of bins. It is not possible to break these figures down into individual totals without looking at each individual ticket which would cost the Council in excess of £600. In accordance with section 12 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, excessive cost, we are therefore unable to provide figures for specific incidents.
