Notice for Personal Licence Holders

URGENT – TO ALL ALCOHOL PERSONAL LICENCE HOLDERS RE – LICENCES DUE TO EXPIRE 1ST SEPTEMBER 2019

Check your licence - if you obtained a personal licence under the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 in either 2008 or 2009 your licence will soon be due for renewal.
We are sending you this reminder now to give you plenty of time to get refresher training and apply for renewal. No further reminder will be issued.

DON’T DELAY :- Obtain your refresher training and apply ASAP.

You have 3 choices:

  1. Apply to Renew the Licence NO LATER THAN 31 May 2019
    If you wish to retain and renew your licence then please see our how to apply to renew guidance.
  1. Surrender the Licence
    If you no longer want the licence you can surrender it by sending it to the address above with written confirmation that you would like to surrender the licence. The surrender will take immediate effect.
  1. Do Nothing
    If you do nothing then the licence will expire on the 1st September 2019 and you cannot use it after that date. This is an automatic process, by operation of law. The licence will automatically expire without any formal process by the Licensing Board.

PREMISES MANAGERS NOTE: - If you want to continue to be a premises manager then you must have a personal licence so you must renew.
