Draft Bilbohall Masterplan
A masterplan is being prepared for land identified in the Moray Local Development Plan 2015 (LDP) for development. The masterplan sets out the shape and form that development will take and will inform future planning applications. 376 homes are being planned for with a large element being affordable.
The draft masterplan and associated landscape and visual appraisal are available to view on the Council’s website or in hard copy, at Moray Council Headquarters, High Street, Elgin or Elgin Library during opening hours.
The draft masterplan is being consulted upon for an 8 week period which starts on 5th March and ends on 27th April 2018. Comments can be submitted via email to firstname.lastname@example.org or in writing, posted to Moray Council, Development Services (Development Plans), High Street, Elgin, IV30 9BX. Comments must be received by Friday 27th April.
During the consultation period, a public drop-in exhibition is being held at St Giles Church, Elgin on Saturday 17th March, 9.30am to 4pm, where the draft masterplan can be viewed and officers will be available to deal with queries.
Comments received will inform the final Masterplan and these will be presented to a meeting of the Planning & Regulatory Services Committee of Moray Council in June 2018 for approval. Should the final Masterplan be approved, it will become Supplementary Guidance to the LDP 2015 and will be taken into consideration in the determination of subsequent planning applications.
