How many wildfowling permits for Findhorn Bay have been applied for and how many have been granted?

18 permits have been issued by the Findhorn Bay Local Nature Reserve group. This was confirmed to the Council by the FBLNR who act on behalf of the Council in respect of this. 

A voluntary system has been negotiated by Findhorn Bay Local Nature Reserve group, who have the power to issue permits. 

At a meeting of the Economic Development and Infrastructure Services committee on 5 September 2017, Councillors agreed to see how this voluntary system goes for the current shooting season before reviewing the position. Minutes of this meeting are exempt under Section 27 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002- Information due for publication. They will be published on the Council's website following approval at next Committee in early November.
