FOI Request - Moray Council Email Addresses
1. Is it the policy of Moray Council to permit employees to use/disclose their Moray Council email address to receive and send emails for non Council related correspondence ?
2. Should I wish to make a formal complaint in relation to computer use policies, to whom do I address this ?
1. The response to this question is covered by the following extract from the Computer Use Policy:
‘Council ICT resources must only be used for Council business and for carrying out activities consistent with an employee’s function and responsibilities. Any other purpose is deemed to be personal use and is prohibited. In exceptional one-off circumstances, personal use will be permitted for emergency family situations.’
