Taxi or Private Hire

Please note that if you are considering lodging an application:

  • The Council Access Points are closed so applications cannot be lodged in person.
  • The Council Contact Centre can take telephone payments at present but this may change.
  • The Council is still accepting applications but these may take slightly longer to process as many staff are working from home in line with the current Government guidance and have limited time in the office. Essential staff are maintaining a skeleton service or being redeployed to areas of urgent need,
  • We ask that you please lodge your application and payment as remotely as possible and check our web pages for updated guidance re: Covid 19 regulations. The Council will continue to work with a skeleton office staff for as long as the Scottish Government Guidance advises. This currently means only 1/3rd of the team are permitted in the office at any one time.

Please be assured we will resume normal service as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
