QUEENS JUBILEE BANK HOLIDAY CHANGES

The announcement of an additional bank holiday on June 3rd 2022, to celebrate the Queen's platinum Jubilee There will be a change in the dates that Taxi Firms can charge the bank holiday surcharge here in Moray. May 30th 2022 will no longer be a bank holiday and June 2nd 2022 and June 3rd 2022 will become Bank Holidays.

Taxi Firms will be updating their meters to remove the Bank Holiday surcharge from the May 30th date and have it changed to June 2nd and June 3rd.

( C ) For each hiring between 7.00 a.m. and 12 midnight on Sundays and Bank Holidays a surcharge of £1.50 applies

Communications Strategy Taxi/Private Hire Licensing Approved

Following consultation with various Stakeholders, the Licensing Committee, at its meeting on 10 October, approved a Communications Strategy setting out how communications will be undertaken over the next few years to support work in Taxi/Private Hire Licensing.
