FOI Request - Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015 - Review
I'd like to request a review of this decision. [FOI 101000396863]
I in no way believe the release of the regional info I have requested would prejudice the conduct of public affairs. In fact, the info requested is an attempt to reveal what measures councils are reducing any such threat to national security and, as such, is very much in the public interest - particularly parents.
Following your request for a review of our response to the FOI 101000396863, this was held at the council offices on February 8th 2016. In attendance were the council’s Head of Lifelong Learning, Culture and Sport, Records and Heritage Manager, Senior Solicitor and Information Co-ordinator.
The reason for the original decision was discussed, namely that releasing the information requested would prejudice the effective conduct of public affairs. However, upon further investigation it was found that the information you requested in questions 1, 2 and 4 is not held and is therefore exempt under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.
