Criminal Justice
Criminal Justice - The Moray Council
The target group is 16+
Stage 1 - young person made subject to a statutory order from court or subject to diversion via fiscal service. At this point a risk/needs assessment will be undertaken and a case management plan produced.
Stage 2 - risk/needs assessment will identify areas of work to be undertaken during statutory supervision. If lack of employment/education is linked to offending then this will be addressed through a referral to a relevant other agency i.e. employment support. At this point we would also identify those who meet the criteria for activity agreements.
Stage 3 - We would also support a young person by addressing other risk/needs factors (i.e. alcohol/drug use, peer associates etc) in order to increase the likelihood of them gaining/sustaining employment.
Stage 5 - if young person is in work then we would support them by addressing other risks/needs factors in order to increase the likelihood of maintaining employment. They will be supported in this way until their statutory supervision, that is, Community Payback Order/Diversion is complete.
